Mindfulness vs. Reflection: Does it have to be one or the other?

I’m a fan of mindfulness, meditation, yoga- these practices have done a lot to help me grow in the right direction. When I can hit my favorite¬¬¬ vipassana flow class two-three times a week, I am a better, happier person and a better wife and mother. Yoga and meditation are based on the principals of mindfulness.

Take Time to Reflect

In this “I’m responsible for everything and have time for nothing”, rush, rush world, “take time, ”is likely the last thing anyone wants to hear. But if we want to feel peace, happiness, or balance, it is the first thing we need to do. Before we can feel satisfied or decide to make changes, we need to enter that sometimes-uncomfortable world of taking inventory of ourselves.
